Objective:
To develop a flight information display system to be viewed on a mobile device. The display will communicate flight information to passengers in real-time. This app must show arrivals, departures, and general airport information.
Process:
Researched different organizational models and decided to experiment with hierarchical, parallel, and spatial zoom. Between these methods, I came to the conclusion that a combination of hierarchical and spatial zoom results in a better user experience. From here I played with color, typeface, and the overall layout to refine my final interface.
